SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will wrap up its current five-game road trip on Thursday against UT Arlington. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the UTA Tennis Center.
The Roadrunners (5-6) split a pair of matches in Louisiana last weekend at Louisiana-Monroe and Northwestern State. UTSA dominated the Warhawks, 4-1, on Saturday before falling short to the Lady Demons, 4-3, the following day.
Miriam Rosell Canudas remains the team leader in singles wins with eight at the second spot in the lineup and she has combined with Jacobea Junger for a half dozen victories at the top spot, including five straight.
After being swept by both Kansas and Wichita State last weekend, the Mavericks (4-4) have dropped three of their last four matches. Jessica Birowski leads UT Arlington with a perfect record of 7-0 in singles play.
The Mavs defeated the Roadrunners by a score of 4-1 in the last outing on April 6, 2013.
