UTSA to host Rice on Thursday night
SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will return home for the first time in nearly three weeks when it takes on Rice in an 8 p.m. tilt on Thursday at the Convocation Center.
The Roadrunners (6-12, 2-3 C-USA) are looking to snap a three-game losing streak after opening Conference USA play with a pair of wins. The Birds have won three straight at home and are looking to improve to 5-1 all-time against the Owls (6-13, 1-5 C-USA), whose win last Saturday broke an eight-game losing skid.
The contest can be seen on Time Warner SportsChannel Texas (323) and Comcast SportsNet, CSN Houston, CSN Philadelphia and CSN Bay Area with Tom Dore (play-by-play) and Tom Penders (analysis) calling the action.
Fans are encouraged to wear white as part of UTSA's "White Out" and Greek Night at the Convocation Center. All fans will receive a white HEB Rowdy Towel, while the Greek organizations on campus will be competing for a pizza party.
Single-game and season tickets may be purchased by calling (210) 458-UTSA (8872), clicking here or in person at the Convocation Center box office beginning one hour prior to tip.
