Roadrunners to head north for Saturday matchup with North Texas
SAN ANTONIO — Something will have to give and postseason implications will be the line on Saturday when UTSA (5-5, 4-2 C-USA) squares off with yet another Conference USA West Division co-leader.
The Roadrunners, winners of the three consecutive games, will make the trek up IH-35 to face North Texas (7-3, 5-1 C-USA), which has won five straight.
UTSA has won three contests away from the Alamo City this fall (21-13 at New Mexico/32-13 at UTEP/34-15 at Tulsa) and seven of its last 11 road outings dating back to last season.
The Roadrunners, who did not play last weekend, are coming off a come-from-behind 10-7 victory against Tulane back on Nov. 9. UTSA has won by an average score of 32-17 during its three-game winning streak.
