SAN ANTONIO — UTSA Athletics announced Wednesday a video contest on the Instagram mobile application which encourages fans to post a 15-second clip of a re-creation of UTSA Football's first-ever touchdown. Instagram is a free application which can be downloaded in the App Store or on Google Play.

Roadrunners quarterback Eric Soza scored the first touchdown in program history on an option play on Sept. 3, 2011, against Northeastern State.

Fans are being asked to tag their submissions with #TDUTSA and @UTSAAthletics when uploading to Instagram in order for their video to be recognized for the prize. The contest launches Wednesday and submissions will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, Aug. 22.

The winning submission, which will be determined by UTSA Athletics, will receive a prize pack. The prize pack includes two tickets to the Roadrunners' 2013 home opener against Oklahoma State on Sept. 7, a replica No. 8 jersey and a chance to recreate the winning submission on the field at the Alamodome following the UTSA/Oklahoma State game.

Fans can follow all contest submissions on our Tagboard.
