Roadrunners add pair to 2013 signing class

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA announced the addition of San Antonio MacArthur High School standouts Courtney Bertholf and Brianna Livecchi to its 2013 signing class on Tuesday.

As forwards for the Brahmas, the pair combined to score 113 goals and record 66 assists in their four seasons of play. MacArthur advanced to the third round of the playoffs in each of the last three seasons and finished with 19 wins in 2012.

The duo will join fellow signees Kirsten Buono (Rossmoor, Calif./Los Alamitos HS), Emma Makela (Mukilteo, Wash./Kamiak HS), Tyane Ramos (Pflugerville, Texas/Hendrickson HS), Kat Tesno (Conroe, Texas/Oak Ridge HS), Kaytee O’Brien (Colleyville, Texas/Heritage HS/UNC Greensboro), Teresa Offerman (Wichita, Kan./Bishop Carroll HS/Butler [Kan.] CC), Happy Orere-Amadu (New York, N.Y./Truman HS/Monroe [N.Y.]), Megan Snyder (Overland Park, Kan./Shawnee Mission West HS/Butler [Kan.] CC), Taylor Wingerden (Macedon, N.Y./Palmyra-Macedon HS/Monroe [N.Y] CC) and Shelby Wright (Yuma, Ariz./Mitchell HS/Nova Southeastern [Fla.]) on the pitch for UTSA next fall.
