SAN ANTONIO — UTSA (5-1, 1-0 WAC) will look to get back on the winning track on Saturday when it hosts San Jose State (4-2, 0-1 WAC) in a Western Athletic Conference (WAC) contest. Kickoff for this season’s Homecoming game is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Alamodome.
Coming off their first loss of the season (34-14 at Rice), the Roadrunners will look to remain perfect in WAC play. UTSA won its first-ever league tilt, 35-14, at New Mexico State on Sept 29.
The Roadrunners are making the jump to the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) this fall after posting a 4-6 record as a Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) independent a year ago.
