BRISTOL, Conn. — ESPN announced Monday that it will broadcast UTSA's Oct. 27 game against Utah State on ESPN3. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at the Alamodome.

It will mark the Roadrunners' third appearance on ESPN3 this season. UTSA's season-opening 33-31 victory at South Alabama appeared on the compnay's Internet-based network and this Saturday's Homecoming tilt against San Jose State also will be shown.

ESPN3 is ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network, a 24/7 destination that delivers thousands of global sports events annually and accessible online here, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold level members. It is currently available to 73 million homes at no additional cost to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated service provider. The network also is available at no cost to approximately 21 million United States college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers connected to on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks.

UTSA (5-1, 1-0 WAC) will look to get back on the winning track after dropping a 34-14 decision last Saturday at Rice. The Roadrunners won their first-ever Western Athletic Conference (WAC) contest, 35-14, at New Mexico State on Sept. 29.

Meanwhile, the Spartans (4-2, 0-1 WAC) are coming off Saturday's 49-27 home setback to Utah State in the league opener for both teams.
